Craig A. Cates

Craig took over the operation of Meadowlawn in 1981. After graduating from Southwestern University in 1980 with a BBA., Craig joined Dial Finance as a management trainee. One year later, the opportunity to take over Meadowlawn arose and the rest is history. Craig is the President of Meadowlawn and also a licensed funeral director and certified in crematory operations. He is married to Mary Weller Cates, the daughter of the founder of Meadowlawn, Cyrus B. Weller.

Gregory A. Medcalf

Greg joined Meadowlawn in 2000. He is the director of operations and a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Greg previously worked for a family owned firm in Beeville and later ran the funeral home and cemetery operations at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home for many years before joining Meadowlawn. Greg graduated from the Mortuary Science program at San Antonio College in 1987 and has thorough knowledge of the death care industry. He also is a licensed crematory operator. Greg is a San Antonio native and has two daughters who also live in San Antonio.

Brian Kramer

Brian joined Meadowlawn in 2007. Currently Brian is our cemetery superintendent and Director of All Paws Great and Small Pet Crematory. Brian is responsible for the outside daily operation and supervises the cemetery maintenance crew. In addition, Brian graduated from San Antonio College in 2012 and is a licensed funeral director and certified crematory operator. He is developing and learning the entire operation with hands on experience. Brian is married to Amber Kramer and they have 5 children and live just outside of LaVernia.

Sharol "Sherrie" Curry

Sherrie has been with Meadowlawn since 1986. Sherrie worked at Rio Grande Drilling in the accounting department prior to joining Meadowlawn. She ran the office operation for Meadowlawn for many years before graduating from San Antonio College as a licensed funeral director in 2007. She was previously a Vice President of Meadowlawn and now sits on its Board of Directors. Sherrie has a thorough knowledge of the entire operation. Sherrie is a member of the JJ Usher Ministry and has been a loyal member of Antioch Baptist Church for 36 years. She has 3 grown sons and 10 grandchildren.

Raymond Clay, Jr.

Raymond has been with Meadowlawn since 1986. Before joining us, Raymond was a certified welder working in the San Antonio area. Raymond was one of our first full time sales counselors and is on the Board of Directors of Meadowlawn. He has thorough knowledge of the cemetery operation and sees families every day. Raymond is married to Mary Knight Clay, also a San Antonio native and they live in Bulverde. Raymond has one son and one grandson. His spare time is filled with the restoration of classic automobiles. Raymond is a member of Resurrection Baptist Church in Schertz.

Eddie Longoria

Eddie joined Meadow lawn in 2016 and is originally from El Paso, TX. He graduated from University of El Paso (UTEP) with a BBA in Marketing and Management. He has thorough knowledge of the funeral care and cemetery industry having served for 8 years as a Sales Facilitator, Family Service Counselor, and Sales Manager at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, TX and Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, TX. Prior to his funeral and cemetery care experience, he served as a Financial Services Provider with New York Life Insurance Company.

Miriam Garcia

Miriam Garica joined the Meadowlawn team in 2012. Originally from Corpus Christi, Miriam moved to San Antonio and married her high school sweetheart. Miriam earned her Associates Degree from San Antonio College in 2011 while working for Olinger-Saenz Mortuary Service handling administrative matters. She is a licensed funeral director and she takes great care insuring her client families desires are met. Miriam and her husband, John have three children and lives near Helotes.

Eusebio Betancourt Jr

Eusebio joined the Meadowlawn team in February of 2014. Eusebio is a 2005 graduate of San Antonio College and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He has extensive knowledge and experience in embalming and body preparation as he worked for two local funeral homes for eight years before joining Meadowlawn. Eusebio has one son and lives in the Balcones Heights area.

Samantha Canche

Samantha is an apprentice funeral director and embalmer. She is a graduate of San Antonio College where she received her Associate Degree in Moutuary Science. Samantha is a native of San Antonio and enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend, family, and many friends. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, subscribing to beauty boxes, and discovering and listening to all kinds of music.

Dillard "D.D." Yates

Dillard joined our company in 2012. Prior to Meadowlawn, Dillard was the Regional Director of the Baptist Health System Supply Chain. Dillard is very knowledgeable in the cemetery division and see families every day. In addition, Dillard is licensed as a pre need agent offering a complete funeral and burial package. Dillard is a member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as the youth usher leader. Dillard is the founder of the San Antonio Heat Youth and Track Club. Dillard lives in Schertz with his wife, Monica. They have two grown children; Erica who lives in Houston and a son, Devin who is in his senior year at Prairieview A and M and on his way to medical school next year.

Dalia Urbina

Dalia Urbina joined our company in 2014. A San Antonio native, Dalia worked in the insurance industry for several years in North Carolina before coming back to Texas. A 1988 graduate of East Central High School, Dalia is a family service counselor and a licensed insurance agent offering pre-need arrangements to the families she sees on a daily basis. She has a 14 year old son and live in San Antonio.

Al Curtis

Al was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 17th 1952 and educated in the Chicago Public School System.
Al was an over the road driver until 1986 when he stopped to help my wife raise our children.
Al retired from the Horseshoe Casino in May of 2014. In July of 2015, his wife of 29 years, Vanetta and he prayed, stepped out on faith and made a major relocation to San Antonio, leaving their 6 children and 9 grandchildren. They love it here.
A few of his hobbies are grilling, bowling, playing cards, Bid Whist in particular. Al would love to try golfing.
Al loves to cook and entertain family and friends.

Tamlyn Stocks

Tamlyn, "Tami" joined the Meadowlawn Family in February of 2015. Tami is our in house accountant. She is responsible for balancing the books on a daily basis. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the accounting field. She previously worked in the LP Industry for 18 years in Stockdale and later worked at Cintas in San Antonio for 6 years before joining Meadowlawn. Tami lives in Stockdale and has three grown children and five grandchildren. She is a life long member of Christ United Methodist Church & serves as the choir director.

Terry Bosanko

Terry joined our company in October 2014. She is our receptionist and also handles data entry. Terry is very involved in youth athletics with her husband and son. Formerly a beautician for twelve years, Terry has one grown son, a bull rider and one grown daughter in college.

Krystle Deleon

Krystle joined Meadowlawn in May 2015. She works on data entry such as entering contracts, maintaining current records and posting payments. She brings with her nearly 9 years of office experience. A graduate of St. Gerard Catholic High School, she enjoys her weekends with her husband, David, and son, Noah, tending to their garden, playing with their pets: a black Angora cat, a Chihuhua and a dwarf rabbit; and attending the local pop culture conventions.

Monica Martinez

Monica was born & raised in San Antonio, TX. Graduated from East Central High School in 1994. Monica married her high school sweetheart been together for 23 yrs. married 13 yrs. They have 2 children & 2 grandchildren who keep them very busy. Monica worked for HEB Grocery Co. for 18 yrs. And her husband is a truck driver for HEB for 24 yrs. Monica joined Meadowlawn in November of 2015. Monica keeps busy with her son Michael with select baseball & basketball. Monica enjoys being outdoors & playing different sports & she loves her Spurs!.

Eddie Armstrong

Eddie joined Meadowlawn in 1993 after a 13 year career with HEB. He began his career with Meadowlawn as a cemetery worker but soon learned all facets of the cremation process. He is our lead cremator and has handled over 24,000 human cases during his career. Eddie graduated from East Central High School in 1980 and is married to Karen Simms Armstrong. They have 3 sons and live in Adkins.

Craig Willis

Craig Willis joined our company in 2013. Craig moved to San Antonio in 2009 from St. Louis, Missouri. Craig's job mainly consists of our pet operation, All Paws Great and Small Pet Crematory. He also helps out in both of our crematoriums as he is a licensed crematory operator. He is not married and enjoys scuba diving in his spare time.

Deacon Juan Jose Delgado

My name is Deacon Juan Jose Delgado. He has been married to San Juanita Yzaguirre for 45 years and they have 5 girls and one boy, sixteen grandkids and one great grandkid. Deacon Juan was ordained to be a Deacon on May 19, 2007, with service to St. Patrick Catholic Church. He worked for Via Transit for 26 years of service. Deacon Juan used to be in boxing, baseball and soccer. He use to train his son on boxing at San Fernando Gym for the Olympic USA team. Now he's with the great team at Meadowlawn.

Ima Jean Williams Lampkin

Ima Jean Williams Lampkin, originally this is home. The tenth of eleven children, Ima left San Antonio in May 1972 after graduating from Sam Houston High. Ima attended college at Los Angeles City College on a scholarship and completed her studies in 2 yrs. Her area of concentration was Child Development and Social Studies. Ima moved to San Antonio in September of 2011. Ima and her husband Fred are members with Bishop M.K. McIntyre. They have 3 children and 12 grandchildren; 6 in Los Angeles and 6 in San Antonio. Ima started working for Meadowlawn Funeral Home on November 6, 2012, as a collector and also assist on services when needed. Ima loves to play bingo, the best in bid whisk and low ball poker.
