Kenneth Lawrence Gould, age 50, passed in peace on January 5, 2018. He fought hard in his battle with esophageal cancer. From his birth in Garden Grove on August 20, 1967 to his passing he brought lots of laughter, love, and compassion to those around him. He was a jack of all trades; wanting to learn anything and everything he could throughout his life. His work ethic and determination could not go unnoticed. He was a proud U.S Army veteran who joined the military at the young age of 40. Ken truly lived life to the fullest. Some of his happiest days were spent enjoying the simplest pleasures of cooking, cracking jokes, enjoying nature, and eating candy. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, cherished son, and a beloved friend. He is survived by his lifelong love Lisa Towne; his three children, Jennifer Hatch, Matthew Towne, and Taylor Gould; his four young grandchildren; his mother Elizabeth Baker; his brother Monte Gould; his sister Kim Simmons; his four nephews; and his four-legged best friend Sophie. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on January 24 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home in San Antonio proceeded by a military burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
