Jesse James Galloway, Jr. was born in New Bern, North Carolina on June 1, 1954 to Jesse James Galloway, Sr. and Fannie Beard. He attended schools in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Highlands High School where he was member of the ROTC.
Jesse loved cars, traveling, all kinds of music and going to the gym. He was a particularly sharp dresser and took pride in his appearance, even when it was casual. With his flair for style, he always received compliments.
Jesse was the owner of Midtown Cocktails on the East Side and enjoyed every minute of it. On March 25th he proudly celebrated his 11th year anniversary as the owner. Anyone who knew Jesse, knew he had a big heart and was not afraid to show some of his tough love. Jesse was a headstrong businessman that earned and deserved respect. He held food drives for the San Antonio Food Bank, Battered Women’s Shelter, helped several charities and was involved in his community. On June 16, 2017 SAGE presented Jesse with the Eastside Pioneering Spirit Award.
