Ronnie Henderson passed at the age of 66 on August 24, 2017. Ronnie was born to the late Fred and Thelma Henderson Sr., in San Antonio, Texas on November 17, 1950.
Ronnie attended St. Peter Claver School where he participated in a host of sports, to include Basketball, Football and Track.
Ronnie later became a singing and choreography sensation with The Montiques & Sweet Funk Band. This experience was always near and dear to his heart as he shared this journey with a few of his closest friends. (Foster Lamkin, Marvin Middleton, Archie Jenkins (deceased), and Harold Green). He then finished out his career as a Welder in Hawaii.
He is survived by his brother: Fred Henderson (Sarah Henderson-Spouse). His children: Adrian Powell, Inez Eddington (Carl Eddington-Spouse), Reginald Robinson, Shaylyn Madere (Christopher Madere- Spouse) and Maisha Abbott (of Hawaii). His grandchildren: Emarald Robinson, D’Marqus Armstrong, Lajoy Lampkin, Ava Madre, Reginald Robinson Jr, Micaela Madere and his great grandchild, Sapphire Thompson. His nephew: Sean Henderson (Janette Henderson- Spouse), Michael Thomas, Niece-in-Law -Andrea Henderson and six nieces and nephews.
He is now resting with his parents and nephew, Fred Henderson III.
