Abelina Martinez

Abelina Martinez went to be with the Lord and join her husband, Rafael, in Heaven, January 27, 2020. She was born April 17, 1946 in Repueblo de Oriente, Mexico to Genovevo and Ma. Luisa Capetillo. Abelina was a devoted mother and grandmother. At 36 years of age, she met and married Rafael. Unfortunately, her marriage of eight years was cut short due to his sudden passing, her commitment and love, however, never wavered and maintained her love and commitment to him for the rest of her life. A strong and very independent woman, she was a role model to her three children. She was a devoted daughter, taking care of her mother through her final days; a loyal sister, always being there for her siblings; and a beloved aunt. Abelina spent her days being very active. Her passion was gardening and making everything around her beautiful. Abelina is preceded in death by her husband and parents. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Alejandra (Frank) Capetillo, Rafael (Priscilla) Martinez, and Geno (Valerie) Martinez; stepsons, whom she loved as her own, Ruben (Mary Lou) Martinez, Rafael (Mary) Martinez, Jr., and Roman Martinez ; grandchildren, Angelica, Angel, Layla, Zoeli, Zinai, Leanidas, and Zikael. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, whom she adored, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family and friends. Abelina Martínez fue a estar con el Señor y unirse a su esposo, Rafael, en el Cielo, el 27 de enero de 2020. Nació el 17 de abril de 1946 en Repueblo de Oriente, México a Genovevo y Ma. Luisa Capetillo. Abelina era una madre y abuela devota. A los 36 años, conoció y se casó con Rafael. Desafortunadamente, su matrimonio de ocho años se vio corto debido a su repentina muerte, su compromiso y amor, sin embargo, nunca vaciló y mantuvo su amor y compromiso con él por el resto de su vida. Una mujer fuerte y muy independiente, fue un modelo a seguir para sus tres hijos. Era una hija devota, cuidando de su madre a través de sus últimos días; una hermana leal, siempre estando allí para sus hermanos(as); y una querida tía. Abelina pasó sus días siendo muy activa. Su pasión era la jardinería y hacer todo a su alrededor hermoso. Abelina es precedida en muerte por su marido y sus padres. Dejados para apreciar su memoria están sus hijos, Alejandra (Frank) Capetillo, Rafael (Priscilla) Martínez, y Geno (Valerie) Martínez; hijastros, a quienes amaba como propios, Rubén (Mary Lou) Martínez, Rafael (María) Martínez, Jr., y Román Martínez; nietos, Angélica, Angel, Layla, Zoeli, Zinai, Leanidas, y Zikael. También es sobrevivida por numerosos nietos de sus hijastros, a quienes adoraba, bisnietos, hermanos, familia extensa y amigos.
