Auguster passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of July 5th, 2016 after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Auguster was one of nine children. She was born on August 3rd, 1937 to the late Cleveland and Classie Barnes, in Guadalupe County, Texas. She was an active member of the Bright & Morning Star Baptist Church for more than 35 years where she was the head usher. Auguster also participated in the Order of the Eastern Star and the Elks Lodge. She lived a life dedicated to helping others. Auguster is survived by two children: Loretta Wilson and Tony Anderson both of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her brother, Wilie C. Bonds and his wife Mary of Seguin, Texas; sisters, Rosie Coleman of Tennessee and Lubertha Williams and her husband Jerry of San Antonio, Texas. She was proceded in death by her father, Cleveland Barnes; her mother, Classie Barnes; sisters, Lilly Bonds, Addie Porter, Loretta Rogers, Margie Green and Eura McCampbell; sons, Glenn Wilson, Sr., and Donald Wilson and her daughter, Lina Caldwell. They were all waiting for her at Heaven's Gate. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, great granchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
