Carl Eugene Cunningham

Carl Eugene Cunningham was born October 2, 1957, to Dorothy Warner Cunningham and Delton Cunningham. He passed peacefully from this life on January 7, 2020, after a gradual decline in health. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Willie B. Swain, here in San Antonio, TX. Carl did not marry, nor did he have any children, but was an awesome and bossy Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Carl Cunningham was a Master Welder. A trade he skillfully accomplished while attending East Central High School, where he graduated in 1976. Welding was his only job, and he loved it. He gave his heart to Christ at an early age and was a member of the Gardendale Community Baptist Church. Carl was preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy Warner Swain; his Father, and Stepfather. He is survived by his only sister, Tammy Denise Cunningham; one Uncle, Willa Peavy; two nieces, Ebony Walker (Jermille) and Deltonn’e Cunningham; two nephews, Thomas Cunningham (Michelle ) and Troy Foster. He is also survived by his special Aunties, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
