Carrie Ruth Rodgers

Carrie Rodgers was born on January 7, 1920 in Luling, Texas, daughter of the late Allie and Annie (North) Rodgers. She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ulysses Rodgers and Fred Rodgers, her sisters Mae Dell Washington, Peggy Wright, Mildred Johnson and Etherine Smith and daughter Rosie Lee Holt. Carrie lived to be 100 years of age, and she lived a long and blessed life. She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren James Holt, David Holt, Rachel Yvonne Wyatt and Debra Rhodes and eighteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She will be especially missed by her niece and caretaker of 28 years Dorothy McGarity.
