Guestbook

  1. Sending our deepest condolences and prayers through your time of healing. Charles was more than a friend, and more like family.

  2. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Charles as one of my students at the Art Institute, and subsequently as a friend. I am deeply saddened and stunned by his passing, and please accept my deepest condolences. I just texted with him recently about an album he had recommended to me and how much I was enjoying it. He and I had also long talked about a film he really enjoyed, but that i had never seen. I recently watched it but had not yet had the chance to tell him or discuss it. I am grateful to him for introducing these pieces of art into my life. He will be missed.

  3. Charles and I go back to school days. He had such a big heart. Always in good spirits and touched everyone he came in contact with. Sending my Condolences and prayers of comfort to the Family! Rest on friend 🙏🏾

  4. Our prayers and heartfelt condolences are with you during this most difficult time. Charles has always been a beautiful, kind soul. He will be missed

  5. I met Charles at the Art Institute. He was awesome. I never saw the guy mad. He was always smiling and just ready to laugh. Dude was never stressed or if he was he hid it well. He was just fun to be around. He acted in all of our Films. As long has he knew what you wanted his character to do, he did it. I miss you man. When I’d go work on a film and see him there I was like “oh yeah, this is going to be a fun day” Always somebody I could joke around with. like Erwin says. He was family.

  6. Hurt. We love, we will miss you deeply. We are sadned that you are no longer with us but we can still feel your energetic energy and contagious smile.

  7. With a hug to match his warm smile, Big Hurt was the sweetest guy at The Hard Rock. Rest In Peace my friend.

  8. Damn charles…still in shock… Everytime I seen him., he always had a smile…I met Charles when we used to work together at the hard Rock cafe… Everytime I saw him id greet him with ” YO CHUCK!!!” and he would just bust out laughing and say ” whats up mike?” With a humongous smile… I’ll miss you dude…crazy I had just spoken to you like a couple days before God called you…😢😢

  9. Incredibly sad that you are not here with us but we know you are most definitely with God now. We will forever remember your laughter & your kindness.

  10. Such a painful loss. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. eternal God, with the comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful, their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your love.

  11. I first met him at the night of the living Dead show that we were both on, I remember being nervous because everybody was older than me and I had no idea how to talk to everyone at the time but, then there was Charles, he had casually came up to me and talked to me as if we were old friends. I’ll honestly never forget how comfortable he made me feel that day. Afterwards I had started to follow his work and chatted with him more and more about said work and honestly he was one of my inspirations but unfortunately life gets in the way so I had to put that dream on hold but Charles didn’t and that’s what makes him amazing. Ill miss him and his kind heart.
