Cheryl Lyn Hopkins went to be with our Lord Friday, May 21, 2021 at the age of 63 years. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island December 23,1957 to Shirley Clements and Dale Hopkins Sr. Cheryl retired in 2020 as a Registered Nurse after many years of dedicated service in helping others. She loved to travel, and be adventurous. She had an fierce, independent spirit, and was the absolute embodiment of a wild flower. Cheryl loved her family, but her grandchildren were her life. She loved them with all her heart.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Hopkins sr. and her son, Craig Cirocco. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Shirley Hopkins; daughters, Shannon Benton and Renee Cirocco; brothers, Dale Hopkins Jr., Scott Hopkins; sister, Diane Scaeffer; grandchildren, Addyson Benton and Rylan Benton. Also many other relatives and friends.

It seems like yesterday the Hopkins and Beltram children were all eating and playing together at Grandma Hopkins’ house almost every Sunday- we of course were only kids. I was happy to see Cheryl a few times in the past years as an adult. My heartfelt condolences to her children, Shanon and Renee, to Dale Jr., Diane, and Scott, and to my Aunt Shirley.
