Cheryl D. Hartfiel

cheryl hartfiel
In the early morning of Tuesday, August 31, Cheryl (Cheri) Hartfiel was called home and earned her angel wings. Cheri had battled congestive heart failure and atrial fib most of her life. Cheryl (Cheri) D Hartfiel was born June 26, 1949 in El Paso, Texas to Julian and Bessie Edwards. She is survived by her only daughter Tamara (Tammy) Mijares and her husband Hector, her grandchildren Abbley Mijares (Kenny), Oralia and Eric Burns, Hector and Vanessa Mijares, Valeria and Patrick Burke and Abram Mijares (Noemi). She has several great grandchildren as well along with other numerous relatives and friends that will miss her deeply. Cheryl’s favorite color was purple, she loved butterflies and of course all of her doggies that were in her life. She was an avid fan of candy – anything chocolate… She worked hard for most of her life as a single mother of her daughter until she found her love of her life Dean Hartfiel and they were married August 25, 1984. They were married 27 years before he passed in 2011. To everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.
