  1. How can I sum up almost 50 years of friendship ? Cheryl was not only one of my two best friends, but she was my sister in my heart. Many times we had to share our joys and sorrows long distance. Our phone calls were never short. Even after a marathon call, I hated to hang up. Our last call was shortly before she went home from her physical therapy hospital. Our last words were “I love you !” That was Cheryl. Always about love, forgiveness, compassion, strength and kindness. And oh my ! How much of a mama bear she was. She was tough, but she loves her kids. To Bobby, Cheryl loved you with a passion that you probably didn’t realize. Josh, Brandy, Megan, Mark and Matthew, you’re mom loves you all beyond the moon, higher than the mountains and deeper than the deepest ocean. Joe, Randy, Deb and Tim., Cheryl told me the best stories about your childhood . When Cheryl lost her daddy, momma, Thomas and Suzanne, she was so strong. When she lost Willie, I saw the strongest woman I know, cry. We cried on the phone together. I wanted to hug my friend, but many miles were between us. I have many months before I get to see my Cheryl again. Farewell my friend. Fly high. Until then, I love you ❤

I know that your new thoughts are to take care of the loved ones that have preceded you. Take care of Mom and Dad as you always did, and the rest of the family. Love Ya, and will always miss you.
