Clarence Robinson, Sr

Clarence Matthew "Noonie" Robinson Sr. was born on December 11, 1927 to Myrtle Robinson Glosson and Wesley Robinson Sr. of San Antonio, Texas. Clarence attended school in the San Antonio Independent School District and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School in 1945. Clarence accepted Christ at an early age at Olive Street CME Church. Clarence worked at San Antonio International Airport for over 50 years, his favorite hobby was fishing. On June 7, 1948, Clarence was united in marriage to Mary Bruce Palluman, this brought a union of 68 loving years. To this union six children were born. Clarence was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Robinson Glosson, father, Wesley Robinson Sr., son, Rickie Eugene Robinson, daughter, Dian Robinson Broussard, brothers, Wesley Robinson, Jr. and Charlie Robinson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Robinson; children: Clarence Matthew Robinson, Jr. (Mardean), Clarette Robinson Hardaway, Jackie Ray Robinson and Debra Robinson Govan, all of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Frances Robinson Jarmon of San Antonio, Texas; two step-sisters, Margie F. Bassey of Houston, Texas and Martha Cunningham of San Antonio, Texas. One sister-in-law, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
