Colean E. Scruggs was a long time member of the World Wide Church of God and went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2019 at the age of ninety. She was born to Clyde and Bertha Edwards on October 2, 1928. Mrs. Scruggs is preceded in death by her parents and her six sisters, Mrs. Ira Satterwhite, Mrs. Lavawn Coleman, Mrs. Dorthy Hockley, Ms. Ulysee (Connie) Edwards, Mrs. Valree Moore, Mrs. Marian (MeMe) Scott. She leaves behind her lifelong partner, Mr. Alberto Moreno; nieces and nephews, Tracy Miller Harris, Dwight Edward, Linda Mason, Peggy Hysaw, Paulette Johnson, Isiah Hackley, Wanda Haily; stepchildren, Albert Lawrence Moreno, Cruz Frances Koorn, Mattilda Moreno, Hilario Moreno, and Cynthia Ann Moreno – Hernandez; step grandchildren, Sophia, Yohandry, Jose Carlos, Cruz, Amando, Sarah, Axel, and Santiago. And a special thanks to Ms. Ruthie (Jean) Brantley.
