Darlene Y. Graves

darlene graves
Darlene Y. Graves went to be with the Lord December 24, 2019. She was born May 31, 1973 to Daniel Saunders and Eleanor Woodburn in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Being the oldest of 3, she was the nurturing big sister to her siblings, like a second mom. Darlene loved to travel and had the opportunity to travel all over the world alongside her family. Her favorite place had to be Okinawa, Japan. She was an incredibly happy person. A very kind and loving soul; Darlene was big on family and friends. If you were lucky to be her friend, you’d know you would be her friend for life. When she loved you, she LOVED you. She lived her life to the fullest every day. Her greatest love of all was her family. She loved creating memories with her children, she was a sport’s mom through and through. Nothing was too much for her to do. Always loving and always kind; Darlene will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Saunders. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Matthew Graves Jr .; children, Derek A. Graves and Amaris J. Graves; mother, Eleanor Walker; siblings, Danielle Saunders and Aaron Walker, and beloved aunt Sharon Askew.

  1. Darla was the life of the party! Her bubbly, warm personality had me from the time of met her on the campus of Cheyney University. She has been a true friend and confidante to me over the years. I will never forget her and pray that she is at peace! I also pray for her family and friends who are grieving her loss. Be strong as she was in life!
