Debra J. Stinson passed away peacefully on November 8, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Debra was born to Theodore Howard Sr (passed) and Jewel Howard in El Paso, Texas.
Debra was a graduate of Sam Houston High School. Debra was an avid hard worker and loved her cats. She was a woman of wisdom and strength and will be remembered for so many wonderful memories.
Debra leaves to cherish her memory, Jewel Howard (mother), Theodore Howard Jr (brother), Demonte Johnson (brother), Brenda Moore (sister), Antonie Hobbs (son), Gwendolyn Hobbs (daughter-in-law), Rodney Cooper (grandson) and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Debra was sweet, fiesty, generous, and fun! I worked with Miss Debra at the Visitor Center for 10 years. She was always cooking for us; she brought her glorious food on a cart she called her meals on wheels! We were almost always laughing, she made work fun. Dear Cousin Jewel, Bubba and Antonie: I’ve know my Cousin Debra “Deb” Howard Stinson most of my life. We grew up together living right across the street from one another. Our Great Grandmothers were sisters and, starting with our Grandmothers, our families have always been close. Losing someone close–someone you almost see on a daily basis–is hard to do. It’s hard letting go. On behalf of my mother, Minnie Dilworth, my siblings, Linda, Melvin, Lisa and myself, we send the Howard and Stinson families our deepest condolences. Deb called me her daughter, she was always sweet to me and my kids. Giving me something she got out the catalogues ( she loved) and my kids. She was the cat lady I mean she loved all her cats. We had lots laughs and many pleasant talks. I hadn’t seen her in a while, yet every time I saw I’d stop and talk with her. She’d be peddling around the house, or headed to city or to her momma. Always bragging on her beloved son. I love you Ms. Deb. You will be truly missed. With deepest sympathy. Praying for you Tony and the Howard family ❤️.
