Deloise M. Washington

Deloise Washington was born December 10th, 1942 to the late Dora "Momo" Sullivan and Ollie Miller. She married the late Otis "OD" Washington and from that union to sons were born, the late Otis "Lavan" Washington and the late Dennis Washington. Peacefully at her home in San Antonio, Texas on the evening of Thursday, August 15th 2019, Deloise Washington went to her heavenly home to be with her husband, Otis D. Washington; her two sons, Dennis L. Washington and Otis L. Washington; her mother and father, Doris and Ollie Miller and fifteen siblings, Doug Miller, Donnie Miller, Timothy Miller, Michael Miller, Nyanza Miller, Rachel Miller, Clarence Miller, Layla Miller, L.C. Miller, Artis Davis Miller, Ollie Miller Jr, Jack Ellis Miller, Jackie Miller, Francis Miller and Alberta Miller. She was 76 years young and had been an amazing pastry cook for Luby’s for over 40 years. Traveling around the United States teaching others how to make some of the world’s best pies, cakes, cookies and other delicacies. She enjoyed listening to blues, but her most favorite was BB. King. She is survived by her loving brother, M.C. “Buddy”Miller; four grandchildren, Tammy Washington, Ebony Washington, Lakeisha Smith (Chad Smith) and Ulysses Stockton and four great grandchildren.
