Sister Earseline Kelly was born, May 18, 1921 to parents Robbie Deli and Nathaniel Harris, of Flatonia, Texas. In her early childhood she because a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church and attended Douglas Elementary and Middle School in Flatonia. She Graduated from I. M. Terrell High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where she lived with her aunt, Etta Lou McDonald. In 1965 she was married to her beloved husband Raymond Kelly for 55 years until her sunset. Earseline was employed as a Central Supply Supervisor at Woodlawn Hills Convalescent Center for many years. She was one of the Founding Charter Members of Ball Tabernacle A.M.E. Church, under Reverend C. S. Marshall for many years. Later she became a member of Emmanuel A.M.E. Church, where she attended faithfully. Earseline enjoyed her church family, working on the hospitality guild, greeters, and being class leader. She was a very active member until her health failed. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Elean Brown, Carrie Hill and brother: Elroy Butler. She’s survived by her loving husband Raymond Kelly, Daughters, Ruby Ruffin (San Antonio); and Gwendolyn Gray (Savannah, Georgia). Five (5) grandchildren, fifteen (15) great grandchildren, four (4) great, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family who cherished her.
