Ernest Coleman, Sr.

Ernest Coleman, Sr. aka Gee was born June 16, 1941 to Anderson and Lillie Mae Coleman in Lake Providence, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, ten siblings and his first wife Barbara Allen Coleman, to this union seven children were born. Remaining to cherish his memory of thirty-eight years Twyla Alexander Coleman; brothers, Redell Coleman and Caudell Coleman; eleven children, Ernest Jr., Patricia, Crystal, Gwendolyn (Derrick), David, Jamie, Robinette, Mia, Verlon, Alisha and Christopher; twenty-seven grandchildren and forty-two great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gee worked most of his life in the construction industry, including ownership of his own contracting business. His favorite pastimes were working on cars, shooting pool, and playing dominoes.
