Eudelia D. Walker

eudelia walker
Eudelia DeLeon Walker, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on June 4th of 2021. Eudelia DeLeon Walker was born on January 11th, 1945, the eldest of six siblings in the small town of Yancey, Tx. On June 1st of 1968 Eudelia DeLeon married Manuel Zamarripa Walker Jr. in San Antonio Tx. where they were married for 53 years. Sister Walker is survived by her husband Manuel Zamarripa Walker Jr and their five children (Ruth, Raquel, Manuel the III, Mauricio, and Kristy), along with her five siblings (Antonia, Juan, Sebastian, Braulio, and Andrea). Eudelia’s life was a living testimony. Our family would not be here today if we didn’t have such a God fearing and wise woman. She cherished praising the Lord and was known for singing and humming hymns within every moment of her day, she passed her love for music onto her family and continuously exhibited her faith by serving and helping loved ones, fervently praying for others, and spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face no matter the circumstance she was in. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, friend, and exceptional role model. She was a loving mother to her own children and a leading example for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always thinking of others and putting them first. Eudelia had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, to know her was to experience selflessness, compassion, loyalty, humility, and generosity. Simply put, to know her was to love her. She will forever be loved, remembered, and carried in the hearts of those who had the privilege to be a part of her life.
