George G. Leyva, Jr. went to be with the Lord Friday, March 22, 2019 at the age of 61. He was born November 4, 1957, in San Antonio, TX, to Cipriana and George Leyva, Sr. George is survived by his life-long partner, Maria Gomez; his son, George Leyva III; mother, Cipriana Leyva; siblings, Teresa Knight, John Anthony (Rita) Leyva, Cynthia (John) Sierra, Patricia (Alfred) Leyva, Jessica (John) Lopez; step-children, Jesse, Deborah and Diana Aldana; grandchildren, Summer, Jenesis, Jaydiz, Jayce, Dante and Joe; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. George is preceded in death by his father, George Leyva, Sr. He will be missed by all who knew him.

John & Family, So sorry to hear of George’s passing. We did not know George very well other then the times we were together for family gatherings. The one thing that I do remember about George was that he was always very nice and he always had a big smile on his face. Keep in mind the happy and fond memories you and your family have of him. He was taken too soon, just remember that the Lord has a plan for us all and “trust” that George’s passing is part of that plan. The family is in our prayers during this difficult time.
