Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To the family: your Dad and Grandpa could be headstrong and cantankerous, but he was a man that lead life his own way on his own terms. I am sure (as I know you are) that he loved all of you and probably showed that in different ways to each of you. Those individual memories, especially the ones ,that make you smile, laugh, and shake your head are the ones he would want for you everyday of your lives. Know his suffering is over and keep his memory close as comfort. With love and respect……the Urick family

  2. We are all saddened by Jerry’s death. I will always remember the fun times we had at the family reunions. Jerry taught me to love music and dance when I was a teenager. He always had a good sense of humor and kept people laughing. Even tho I will miss him very much, I am comforted knowing how brave and optimistic he was about fighting his cancer. I also know how much he loved his children and grandchildren and I am sure you have a lot of good memories. When you are feeling sad, remember the good times and how much he loved you. We will always miss him and think of him often. My prayers are with you. Much love, Aunt Wanda

  3. We will miss Jerry. He usually stayed with us when he was in St. Charles. He and Arlen loved talking about the old days when they were kids growing up and sharing their home with 10 other brothers and sisters. He really enjoyed the family reunions and we missed him the last two years when he was unable to attend. Jerry enjoyed going to the Casino with Doris and me and Arlen. He said he always felt at home when visiting with us. He would sit on our deck to smoke and drink his coffee. We liked having him here. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow. Remember the good times. Jerry loved telling us about all of you when he was here. Uncle Dave (Arlen) and Aunt Jean

  4. I will miss Jerry he had a great sense of humor and memory he would tell lots of stories of our family which we all enjoyed his visits were very memorable. I too remember him teaching me how to dance, he would have me put my feet on top of his, he loved to jitterbug and was very good. Jerry always spoke very fondly of his children and grandchildren and was proud of their accomplishments. He will be greatly missed by all. Aunt Janie

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. All of you were very special to your dad, I could tell that whenever he talked about any of you. I know it is rough to loose a parent but he is in a better place and is out of pain. He will be remembered by alot of people. Your memories will be with you forever.
