Harvey Wuest

harvey wuest
Our beloved Father, Harvey B. Wuest, age 83, passed on to eternal life in Heaven on Sunday, June 21, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Harvey was born on July 4, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Ben and Thekla Wuest. He attended Harlandale High School and after high school began his career with Lone Star Brewery. He worked in several areas of the brewery and retired after 35+ years of dedicated service. He was very mechanically inclined and was truly a “jack of all trades”. Harvey always had a project going on either in the house or the garage and there was nothing that he couldn’t fix. He most enjoyed getting together with family and friends, barbecuing and talking about anything and everything. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Carrol J. Wuest. He is survived by 3 children, Janet Wright (Rich Dopierala), Judy Weyel (Mark) and Michael Wuest (Shannon); along with 2 favorite granddaughters, Jennifer and Lauren Wright. A Memorial to celebrate and honor his life will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at MeadowLawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston Street, San Antonio, Texas.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will miss his good nature, the great smile and the twinkle in those eyes. Goodbye dear Harvey. Sending my 💓 to Judy, Janet and Micheal.

  2. There are many, many great memories that I have, for sure., with “Beaver”. know that you are with our Lord, Jesus Christ now, Harvey, and are again tinkering away on one of your “projects”! I was truly blessed to be a part of your life, and will miss you more than you know. You were more of a brother, and father, to me, than a brother-in-law. I know that you were a great example of what a father and husband should be, also. I know how much you loved my homemade sausage, and truly believe Heaven will provide you sausage even better! My heart goes out to Janet, Judy, and Mike, knowing how hard it is to lose both a Mother and Father in such a short period of time. Love , Uncle Robbie.

  3. Janet, Judy, and Michael, Thanks for streaming the memorial service in honor of Harvey. He and Harry are using perfect plans in Heaven to “redesign” stuff in Heaven now and are having a great time together, with Carrol looking on in amusement! May God give you, Janet, Judy, and Michael His perfect peace during this time. Praying for you and your families.
