Henry Curtis Dilworth

Henry Curtis Dilworth was born on June 5, 1959, to the late Tony and Thelma Dilworth. Curtis received his formal education through the San Antonio Independent School District and graduated high school from Palestine High School. He received a basketball scholarship from Sulross College. Curtis accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was baptized by his grandfather, the late Rev. H.C. Dilworth, at Calvary Baptist Church, Corpus Christi, TX. He later joined Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church and fellowshipped regularly with his wife at Faith Alone Baptist Church. He was employed with CPS Energy, where he served dutifully for twenty-five years before retiring in 2010. Curtis departed life on March 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Mann; father, Dr. T.L. Dilworth; and brother, Kenneth Dilworth and stepfather Telford Price. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his living his adoring wife, Wanda; beloved son, Curtis; stepmother, Francelia Dilworth; his sisters, Pamela (Derek) Ewing and Denise (Jimmy) Dilworth; his brothers, Tarrence Dilworth and Daron "Bubba" Dixon; his grandson, TeeJay Hobbs; aunts, Tyler Mae (Amos) Taylor; Ernestine Tanner; Bessie Mae McKnight; Hattie Thompson and Ruth Davis; uncle, George Dilworth; niece, Michelle (Alvin) Foley; nephews, Kevin (Maria) Dilworth and Derrick Dilworth; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
