Israel Alan Sumbler born on March 23, 1989 to Alan and Sylvia Sumbler in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In 1995, Israel received Christ and was baptized at age six.
The family transitioned to Seattle, Washington for six years, then relocated to Hewitt, Texas where Israel attended Spring Valley Elementary School. In 2000, the family moved to San Antonio, Texas where Israel attended Pease Middle School. It was during his time Israel became active in basketball, football and in the Pease Marching Band.
After completing middle school, he enrolled in Stevens High School where he was a member of the football team, a sport in which he thrived in. His compassion for football opened doors for him to attend college in Tyler, Texas.
Israel's entrepreneurial mindset propelled him to start his own moving company "Prince Charming Movers".
He attended Summit Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Rick Godwin.
Israel is preceded in death by his grandparents, Amos and Geraldine Williams, maternal grandmother, Vandola Joseph and uncle, Michael Wayne Williams.
He leaves to reflect on his life, his parents Alan and Sylvia Sumbler, San Antonio, TX; sister Brittany Sumbler, North Carolina; grandmother, Hester Sumbler from Alexandria, LA; three sons, Johnathan Sumbler, Joshua Sumbler, Isaiah Hoilett Sumbler and one daughter Sanaya E. Bell Sumbler; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Israel was a loving father and son. Our time with Israel will be missed but cherished.

We so sorry very your lose of your son Israel. I know he meant the world to both of you. I had to the pleasure of being around him and can say that he was child of great character. The old saying the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree is evident in the way you both raised and guided him. With all of this being said, your prayers and guidance will never stop because he will be in the hands of the Lord, in which you both are deeply in touch with.
