Jeanette Yvonne Moore went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 59 years. Jeanette is preceded in death by her father, James Moore.
She was a wonderful teacher who will be missed by all the students whose lives she touched. Jeanette will be dearly missed by her loving daughter, Christina Moore; mother, Bessie M. Moore; 3 brothers, Randy Moore and his wife Susan, Delton Moore and his wife Elaine, Anthony Moore and his wife Marie; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette and I were on the First Grade teaching team for the 2017-2018 school year, and it was truly a pleasure working with her. Her sharp, sarcastic wit and never ending sense of humor made work more fun. Lunchtime was the absolute best with Jeanette. She was a great cook who loved to share her creations during lunch, and she even cooked me salmon one time and brought it to school since she knew I couldn’t cook. She liked to play around with funny Snapchat filters too, and more often than not we were giggling before we went to pick up our students. She was a kind, smart, hilarious friend, and I will miss her dearly. My love and thoughts go out to her daughter Christina, who I know depended on Jeanette and was very close with her.
Jeanette was such an important part of the Woodlake Elementary Teaching staff- even when, especially when, we needed a laugh.
