Jovita G. Castillo

Jovita G. Castillo passed away peacefully Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the age of 95 years. She was born in Mexico on June 16, 1926 to the late Modesto Martinez and Jose Garibay. Jovita had a green thumb and enjoyed being outside tending to all her plants. She made the best tamales and tried teaching her daughters and granddaughter’s her different recipes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo H. Castillo. Jovita will be dearly missed by her children, Cruzelia Rios, William Castillo, Raul Castillo and Maricela Cortez; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Esparanza and Alicia
