Juanita "Nita" Evans

juanita evans
Juanita Napier Evans affectionately known as “Nita“ was called home on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 53. She attended Sam Houston High School and married early in life to Christopher Evans, Sr. To that union she had four children. Nita lived in Denver, Colorado for a short time and then returned to Texas. Upon her return she worked for Trinity University and Beat AIDS Clinic. She was an avid reader and enjoyed chatting on the phone, spending time with her grandchildren, one on one time with her mother in the Sunflower garden, and bargain shopping. Nita had her own special way of connecting with people. She loved to make people laugh and touched so many lives during her time on Earth. She was fond of the scripture, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We will miss her dearly, and she will never be forgotten. Nita is preceded in death by father, Leonard Napier, Jr.; sister, Twila Napier and her sons; Christopher “LC“ Evans Jr., Tristan “Tony“ Evans. She leaves to mourn her mother, Emma Napier Pierce; daughter, Shan’terra Evans; son, Leonard Evans; sister, Lynette Napier, three nieces, two nephews, seven grandchildren, aunt and numerous other relatives and friends.
