Larry D. Peoples entered this life, July 18, 1953, born to Larry Davis and Clara Bernice Sayles in San Antonio, Texas. Larry attended the public school system receiving his formal education. Following high school he entered the U.S. Army, serving from November 1, 1973 until October 28, 1975 in Germany. He loved playing dominoes and watching the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs play. He was known for being dressed to impress and loved to bar-b-que. To know him was to love him in spite of his stubborn ways. Larry met and united in holy matrimony to Carolyn County, April 30, 1978, they remained together until November 27, 1984. To this union two children were born. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved parking cars at San Antonio Country Club and playing softball. Larry had a passion for good music and singers such as Gerald Levert and Johnny Taylor. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Reginald Peoples and Ricky Peoples (Catina); sisters, Cynthia Griffin (Charles A.), Evelyn Hill, Anquinette Thomas (Anthony), Veda Sayles (Larry); brothers, Alvin Sayles (Harriet), Calvin Sayles, Michael Sayles (Freddie) and Melvin Sayles; aunt, Mildred Butler; grandchildren, Camiya Johnson and Pierce Peoples along with his lifelong friends, Cynthia White and Debra McCall another grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

  6. Just found out, prayers to the family. He was my best friend,an awesome person. For years at Friedrich we road together at lunch. We would leave early from work and go shoot pool, I know he would let me win sometimes. I had been wanting to catch up with him, now I’ll never get the chance REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND, REMEMBERED ALWAYS.
