Laura L. King

Laura L. King went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2020. She was born October 8, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to Clemente and Olivia Luna. Laura was the second oldest of four. She graduated from Harlandale High School. Laura was a hard-working woman and worked for HEB for 21 years until she retired moving on to a few other jobs. She loved to be organized, maintaining the upkeep of her home and yard. Many would say she had one of the best yards on the block and the pride that she took in it showed. Laura was energetic, sweet, caring and loving to anyone she met. She would always try to help anyone in need and would give the shirt off her back if needed. The most important thing in her life was family. Her priority was keeping her family strong and together. Laura will always be remembered and dearly missed by all those whose life she touched. She is preceded in death by her son, Melvin L. King, Jr.; sister, Maria Martinez; mother and father, Clemente and Olivia Luna. May her legacy live on forever. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer King-George (Casey) and Adam C. King, Sr. (Krystal); grandchildren, Zammari Preston King, Adam Jr., Tianna, Amaya, Autumn, Corey, Chance, Casey Jr., Kalvaughn and Christian; siblings, Albert (Veronica) Luna and Lorenzo Luna; nieces, nephews and friends.
