Leo Williams went to his resting place on August 10, 2017. He was born to the late Paul Williams and Pearlie Young Williams in Foreman, Arkansas on April 12, 1929. He attended grade school in Idabel, Oklahoma. He met Imogene Thomas and married her in 1951. They have one beautiful daughter together, Carolyn Williams, born October 22, 1951. They resided in San Antonio where they eventually purchased the family home at 838 Canton St. We made many memories in this home. He drove 18 wheeler's cross country and locally to make a living. He was a great provider and a great dad and grandpa. He attended New Union Missionary Baptist Church over 60 years and was entrusted to hold the title of Deacon by the Lord and his Brothers and Sisters in Christ! He knew the Word from beginning to end. He always enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the Word. He cherished church and family. He also enjoyed driving his truck, his pipes, and chewing tobacco. He was a happy go lucky person but would put you in your place quickly even to the day he passed. He would keep you laughing and on your toes with some of the things that would come out of his mouth. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Savior!! He is survived by his children, Carolyn Williams and Albert Williams; his grand kids; Gene Mooney, Monica Franklin and Prentice Mooney and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by; Imogene Williams, John Lee Williams(son); Sisters; Edna Mae Richards, Viola Joshua, Alice Joshua, Lynette Williams and Brothers; Cleo Williams(his twin), Anthony Williams, and Artgentry Williams.
