Leroy "LG" Gibbons

Leroy "L.G." Gibbons was born on July 13, 1941 to the late Arnold and Velma Gibbons in San Antonio, Texas. L.G. received his formal education in the San Antonio Independent School District. He soon entered the workforce and was employed by Branks Coffee Shop in Dallas, Texas L.G. was introduced to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. L.H. Mills. Leroy was a kindhearted person who would help anyone in time of need. He was a very kind and loving brother who loved and cared for his many family members. L.G. will be truly missed by his family and friends. Leroy was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers, Wallace and Sammie Gibbons. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Connie Gibbons; daughters, Taushon Jones and LaJoy King; granddaughter, Desalyn Jones; stepdaughter, Denise Clay; stepsons, Charles Arch and Clifton Moore; brothers, Joe Louis Gibbons (Marie), Milton Gibbons (Cora "Jeannine"), Arnold Gibbons, Jr.; sisters, Myrthell Jones and Evelyn Henry; one special cousin Marjorie Edwards; his caregiver, Michelle Hartfield and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
