Please visit www.meadowlawn.net , and select her obituary Seconds pass as hours as my mind wanders, Sitting beside you, sharing your air, I inhale slowly attempting to end your despair As the sound of your voice rings in the air; a sound I wish to always keep near Your strength empowering, as frown lines wrinkle your brow Each line etching my heart, a pain indescribable Selfishly I want your hand in mine always while simultaneously I pray for your wings Although so unfair, my past path was made clear, Seconds minutes hours we shared Thankful to have been birthed by you, I will forever love you and hold you tightly in my heart ~ Nisha Special Memories from Youngest There were times as a child she would tell me things I didn’t understand. As I grow older I find myself with vibrant memories of leaving Mt Zion in her Tahoe, heading to IHOP after church. My Gam was a smart, humble, beautiful and courageous woman. The irony of the fact that your best days can also be your worst days will forever remain with me; a true and constant reminder to stay humble. You did ENOUGH, Love you and see you again. ~ Quentin, Analysia, Kairo To Make You Proud Early years to old age, you stayed consistent never strayed Corpus Christi to Disneyland you gave us love with open hands “Take care of them babies like a man” Your words and values implanted inside my head; I’ll make you proud I love you Gam………. ~Brandon I’m Free Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship started, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

  1. I have no Linda dancing since I was a little girl she was a very sweet person and she will be missed Tanisha and Carl I’m here for you if you need me love Laurie

  2. Linda was my supervisor at the CFS, we bumped heads but became good friends . Linda was a power house of knowledge . She knew her job and everything she did was for her kids and family. To me she was a Warrior. As her health began to fail, she jumped into overdrive. She fought everyday, never felt sorry for herself and took on the challenges that was ahead of her. Rest easy my friend , tell your sister Jean hello and your work down here is not over. You are now an Angel 😇, looking over your loved ones.

  3. To the Family of Linda Dancy, May God comfort you all during this difficult time. Keep all the precious memories in the forefront. Keep the faith. Linda Dancy was a wonderful strong woman and she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.

I was so happy to see her about a year ago while shopping for the 1st time in years. Linda was an intelligent, gracious & beautiful lady who will be missed. Rest in eternal peace mt Sister.

  6. To the Family of Linda Dancy: I met Linda at Poe. She was a grade in front of me; however, I remember her as one of the most caring and kind people at school. Our paths diverged; however, when reminiscing about Denver Heights, Linda’s name was always one of the first. She will be greatly missed. May God watch over and keep you all during this time and rest assured that she is looking down on you.
