Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. So sorry to hear about Margie’s passing. We were school mates from our time in Northwood. Lively, fun and creative, I remember always laughing when I was with her and can vividly recall her smiling blue eyes and beautiful smile. Two funny memories were that she helped me refine my prank calling skills (you’re refrigerator is running better go catch it) and once I broke the knob on her new tv and she tried to take the blame!! A good soul who will be missed. Martha Hansen Behrend

  2. I have always thought of Margie as the actual creator of the infectious smile. Laughing was her purest form of communication. Many a weak sense of humor was dashed on the rocks trying to keep up with her giggles.. Truly an inspiration to me during the rough times in my life. Margie will always make me laugh a little inside even though I know I won’t hear her respond..Thank you Marg.. I miss you so much.

  3. Always a beacon of light, Margie endeared others to her with her engaging smile and heart filled with love. I feel privileged to have known this loving soul. I know her spirit will always live on through the love of her life, Ken; her supporter and protector, mom, Susan; her devoted and biggest fan, brother, Jerry and her loving sisters, Nancy and Laurie. Peace!

  4. I only knew Margie for a short time when Susan, Vickie and I furnished the apartment for her and Ken. She had a beautiful smile and she always called me Glenda the Good Witch never by my name so that is what I answered to. She was a beautiful sole and may she rest in peace

  5. My sweet lil Marge/Madge/Mags/Magpie! Such fond memories growing up with Boof and Laurie especially! Quadruple trouble, pranks, tricks, jokes. Incessant laughing in Science in HS kept us in constant trouble with Mrs. Hinger. Separating us only made it worse. I shared an apartment with Marge in 86ish. We lived off of crescent rolls and boxed macaroni that my grandma gave us, and between us had two giant closets of clothes although her closet was WAY better than mine, of course. Every time something needed to be fixed at the apartments the maintenance people would just come and paint it. One of my favorite memories was the time Margie was preparing dinner for some friends and was attempting to make chicken tarragon. She was freaking out in the kitchen because the dish wasn’t working out and the guests were showing up soon. I came in and we added picante sauce and sour cream to top it off and chicken tarragante was born! (Roll the R) Even at the last reunion we laughed our asses off over the stupidest memories. I will miss her beautiful smile and lifelong friendship.
