Martha Rios Herrera

Our beloved mother, Martha Rios Herrera, age 53, passed away, October 7, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in San Antonio, April 8, 1966, to Joe and Gloria Rios. Martha is survived by her children, Jose Villasenor, Anita Esqueda, Ignacio Esqueda, Shirley Esqueda, Hector Esqueda, Virgil Esqueda; 21 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and beloved brothers and sisters. “How I ache for your call upon me. I have waited and waited for you to answer my cries for help. I called and called upon you with tears in my eyes, but there was no answer back from you, my Lord. But then, I realized all my cries for help were answered. When you open doors for me from my kids, you answered my cries for help, but I was too blind to see it. As I hear your voice in my ear, it seems like music to my ears. When you say to me, “Child every time you fell, I was there to pick you up. Now that you have opened your eyes a little more, I will continue to lift you up and lead you in the right path. I have never left your side.” Oh Lord thank you for lifting me off those horrible streets that I slept in. I want to thank you Lord from the deepest part of my heart for answering all my prayers.
