missy thomas
Missy-Talon Sue (Cox) Thomas was born on Oct.26, 1957 in Kansas. She was adopted at birth to Margaret L Cox and her husband James (Pete) Cox and entered her eternal rest on March 20, 2012 after a short battle with pneumonia and a long term battle with lung disease. She lived her life to the fullest, never meeting a stranger, only a person she had yet become friends with. She lived her early years in Dodge City KS. and Pueblo CO. and attended Dodge City church of Christ, where she was baptized. She moved to Texas in the late 70's and worked at the New Braunfels Herald. It was in New Braunfels that she met her husband Michael. She was preceded in her passing by her mother and father. She leaves behind her husband Michael Thomas of San Antonio, her daughter and daughters of her husband; Tande Babb of Seguin, Tera Lynn Cagle of Lamesa TX., Casandra Rose Grayson also of Lamesa TX., a son Jordan King Thomas of San Antonio, a brother Kevin Story of Nickerson KS., her sister Marsha Story of Colorado Springs CO. and 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters, all in Texas. Also she leaves behind her nieces and nephews, all of which she loved dearly and was very proud to have known, as well as brother and sister in laws. Her Memorial is on Friday the 30th of March at Shenandoah church of Christ at 7 pm. For those that wish to send a donation to a cause in her name feel free to do so, remember her love for pets and her battle with her lung ailments and make those choices first.
