Nancy Jane Hughes

Nancy Jane Hughes amazing loving wife, sister, friend left us Saturday, March 9, 2019. Born October 3, 1951 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Walter B. and Shirley Fitzgerald. Nancy is survived by her husband, Daine Hughes; sister, Glenda Hughes; stepdaughter, Ashley (Manuel) Longoria. Nancy’s brother, Patrick (Suzanne)Fitzgerald; nephew, Patrick, Jr. and his 2 children. She is also survived by her stepmother, Nancy Bell Fitzgerald; half brother, Brian (Julia) Fitzgerald of Australia; half sister, Kelly Denson of Corpus Christi, Texas and her daughter. Nancy was married to her husband, Daine, for almost 30 years. They were best friends, partners, the love of each other’s life. She was and is his angel. Nancy found good in everything. She brightened a room when she walked in with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Even though we mourn the tremendous loss, her wishes were for us all to celebrate her life. We will honor her wishes Saturday, March 16, by celebrating her life gathering at their home 435 Meadowgrove Lane, Adkins, Texas from 12 noon - 5pm.
