Paul Charles Kidwell

paul kidwell
Yesterday we received the worst news. My brother, Paul Charles Kidwell, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41. We are all shocked and devastated. From the day he was born, October 8, 1978, Paul was a caring, loving and generous individual who made us all laugh with his understated sense of humor and low-key personality. Paul always put a unique perspective on things, which is probably why he was such a good photographer and so good at conveying himself through the airways, during his time in radio, and on social media. Though his life was cut tragically and unfairly short, it was filled with people who loved him and cared for him, and who in turn relied on him every single day for love and care. He played trombone in band, he was an extremely detailed planner, he went to countless live events and concerts (wrestling and Pearl Jam at the top of the list), he achieved the highest honors you can in Boy Scouts, and he traveled the world. Most recently, he went on frequent road trips across the Southwest and broader United States, finding peace and solace in mostly desolate and forgotten places, ghost towns being a favorite. Paul was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a friend to many and an outstanding and beautiful person. Words cannot adequately describe our loss
