Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What I remember about Richard is, him coming into Dr Webb’s office and bringing us donuts. He was one of a kind for sure. Very loving and sweet individual. He will be missed. ❤️

  2. Uncle Richard you will forever be in our hearts and missed . Your humor and presence lit up any room you entered. I am forever thankful that I had the best childhood with you coming over on a Sunday bbq day and told my dad (ralph) hey I made this for ritie it was a softball with hole drilled thru the middle with a rope he swung it around and told me “eye on the ball ritie” and after you left my dad took me outside every Sunday to practice batting. Your memory will forever be in my head the last time I saw you , you were waving bye to me with a huge smile and saying that’s my niece while leaving the office, I wish I would have hugged u and told you thank you for being my uncle and we love you . I’m grateful I got to see you the last few months I can’t tell u the happiness that was in my heart the minute I saw you and aunt birdie . I will forever drink big red and think of you . As I type this I hear birds whistling The same loud whistle you did ❤️ Love you uncle Richard . -Rita Hinojosa

  3. There’s nothing greater than having a father with unconditional love for both my brother and I. I will cherish all the hunting memories, fishing memories and long talks filled with advice and will do my best to carry my dads legacy by teaching my kids the life lessons he has taught me! I love you dad and I know your always with us!

  4. I grew up playing ball with Jason, and Mr Hinojosa was one of those dads that you can count on to be there and support our teams, practice, games or whatever event we had he was there. Even if we sucked ( we didn’t by the way, but if we did I knew he would still sit or stand with his arms across his chest and enjoying the game). I will always have those memories from those days and he will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to the entire Hinojosa family.

  5. I am so very sorry to hear of the news of your dads passing Jason, our condolences to you and your mom and the rest of the family. I 1st met your dad when we both worked for the school district. Very respectful man always had a smile on his face! It wasn’t until we had a conversation that we realized our son’s knew each other, attended the same schools and well…you know the rest as they say..is History!! You will forever be a part of our family!! Sending lots of love n prayers your way Jason❤🙏!!

  6. Uncle Richard, one of the most amazing men in my life. The memories I have will always be cherished. He was always with the kiddos as we grew up and then with your grandkids, always helping, teaching, guiding and encouraging. I am very grateful to have had him as an Uncle. I remember spending one spring break planting trees and trying to start a garden. He gave me clippings from his Purple Heart plant, he would be glad to know they are still thriving. But some of my favorite times were just hanging out at you and Birdie’s house watching movies or just having family dinners. Although you will be deeply missed, your legacy will live on in everyone whose heart you touched (there are so many) including my own and you will be remembered for years to come in the stories we tell of us growing up. I didn’t get a chance to say Thank you, for everything, but I know in my heart you knew how much you are loved. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

  7. Mr Hinojosa was a very good Man that I myself highly respect and glad I had an opportunity to know him. I met him when being a part of a great group of friends of Jason’s. He always welcomed us in his home and had some of the best advice when I ever I was going through anything. He is a perfect example of the definition of a Great Man is. Heaven gained one very skilled carpenter and I bet he’s enjoying some laughs with another well known carpenter up there maybe even showing him a thing or two to get the job done and enjoying a nice cold big red. Mr Hinojosa I know for sure Jesus said “Job well done” to you as you entered those gates and to all his family may God console your hearts. Many prayers to you all.

  8. Where do I start? Richard was one of the kindest souls I ever knew, from watching him walk his granddaughters to that smiling wave we always got when we went by, his family was the most important thing to him. Especially his sons I remember when Nathan was overseas I could see the worry only another father could recognize we both prayed for his safe return , the hardest job you will ever love is being a father you two boys were Blessed with one of the Best Fathers that GOD could give ,you will hear him through the teachings he gave you and his LOVE will be with you Forever the MAN of the house has left but only for a while y’all will meet again . In his absence y’all must step up ,y’all got big shoes to fill but y’all are his sons y’all will fit in them perfectly! You two hold you heads up high do your Father proud! Take care of the Family because that was the most important thing to him we are here if y’all need us, He was not only my neighbor but my Friend ! GOD BLESS!

  9. My deepest condolences to you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always cherish my memories of Uncle Richard with all my heart. Love you

  10. We are sorry for your loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and we hope that in a small way they help through these trying times. Javier & Vicki Aguilera

  11. What can I say about my Uncle Richard that hasn’t already been said. I was extremely blessed to not only call him my uncle but to also have him as my Godfather. He lived up to both roles exceptionally well. He played such an important role in my life growing up that. I’m I am so grateful for all the memories I have of him. He was always there for me no matter what and without judgement. I will always cherish all the good times we had together as a family. Even though I was not able to say goodbye, I hope he knew how much he was loved and thought of. I will carry him in my heart and memories always. My deepest condolences to you all. You all are in my thoughts and prayers that you may find peace to get you through this difficult time. I love you all. ❤️🙏🏼

  12. Pops is what I’ve always called him, I didn’t have my father growing up and pops is what I imagined he would be or should be. He never made me or anyone he was around feel anything but comfortable. The relationship he had with Jason and Nate was one that I enjoyed watching and being around. I’ll always remember him with a smile and just being himself and selfless. His relationship with mom’s is also what you strive to have in life. He was just a good Man and I’ll always remember him as such and never forget what I should strive to be, for my wife, son, friends, and family. To be a better father, husband, son, and brother. Love always Billy

  13. Every time that I saw Richard, he was smiling. And that smile was contagious to where I would smile too. I’ll miss him, but I know that he is with God
