i worked with judge Richard Teniente on the JOE JIMENEZ CHARITY TOURNAMENTS and knew him for many years . we always discussed one major subject and that was golf . In the last few years i would occasionally see him at tommy’s restaurant and he would tell me that he was going to play golf again . He will do just that this sunday as he will be paired with Joe Jimenez , and the golf course will be immaculate . what a wonderful twosome ! RIP , Ray Cevallos

I was saddened to hear that Mr. Richard Teniente had passed away. Mr.Teniente was an excellent role model for citizens of our community, state and country alike. His generosity and kind heart will always be remembered. We have lost a humble servant. Thanks for serving our SAISD community. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his sisters, children and family.
I do want to give my condolances to the entire family for I vividly remember Richard when I was growing up when my father had Deluxe Market down the street. My father having passed earlier this year was a contemporary of Richard and would often chit chat when we went to pick up some scripts. He was a great man who made everyone he came in contact with comfortable including us kids in those days. He will surely be missed by many that he touched in life.
Judge Teniente married me and my wife in 1991. He was so thoughtful and helpful during our stay in San Antonio. Teniente Family, your in our prayers Mike Bryson Krum, Tx.
So very sorry. He married us on a bridge in San Antonio this date
August 16, 1991. On or 23rd anniversary today we wanted to call and let him know we are still together . So just learning of his passing. He was so kind and funny and surprised us during the ceremony. We look at the pictures every year. We won’t forget this great man.
