Sondra Jean Butler

sondra butler
Sondra Jean Hall Butler was born, May 26, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico to Willie and Ruth Hall. She was the oldest of seven children. Sondra attended the public schools in Roswell, graduating from Goddard High School. She attended Eastern New Mexico University. While in her early twenty's she decided to step out on faith and moved over a thousand miles from her family to Washington, D.C.starting her career with the FBI. Sondra worked faithfully with the FBI for over twenty five years. It was in Washington, D.C. that she met and married Ronald Butler and two beautiful and loving children were born to this union. In 1998 she made the decision to move to San Antonio to be closer to her family. In 2007 she made the decision to retire from the FBI which gave her the opportunity to care for her grandchildren and other family members. Her family would call on her for different meals, cakes and her famous rolls, lovingly called by her kids "Momma's biscuits." She took pride in making them for all special occasions and any time we begged for them. Sondra was not one to sugar coat anything. If you were wrong she was going to tell you how she felt, but once she told you she would give you a loving remedy for the situation. She loved her family dearly. On June 20, 2018 Sondra departed this life to start her new life in eternity. Proceeding her in death are her loving husband, Ronald; parents, Willie and Ruth Hall; sisters, Deborah and Gwen. Sondra leaves to cherish her memory children, Ronald (Toi) and Tiffany (Anthony); grandchildren, Khary, Xavion, Kisha, Keysean, Shanice, Symone and La'Niyah; great-grandchildren, Paris, Peyton, D'Asia and Major; siblings; Shirley, Loretta, Willie (Olivia) and Cory (Yvette) along with many other loving family members.
