Stephen Anthony Hall

Stephen Anthony Hall was born on October 22, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the only son of Patricia Chandler Hall and Frank Edison Hall. He passed away on August 15, 2021, after a battle with cancer.
In his younger years, he played baseball. Later, he played tennis. He had a great love for animals.
He was preceded in death by his parent. He is survived by his sisters: Pam Cummings (Sam), Wendy Schorlomer, and Dana Thomas (Mark). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Kevin Cummings, Matthew Cummings (Cynthia), Lindsay Young, Austin Young, and Nicole Robinson (Ryan).

I met Steve in 2012. John James park was closed, so I was walking my dog on Holbrook. I heard somone say “thats a good looking dog” Thats how my friendship with Steve began. I saw him frequently and soon discovered he camped out a the creek. Steve was far from the typical homeless person. He would take any work he could get. He never asked for any help. It was very clear that he was independent . I did know of his skin cancer. We never spoke of how he came to the decision to be homeless. But it did not matter because his character portrayed a very extrodinary person. I was so pleased when he became the security guard at the landscaping company. He was safe and he was paying his way. One could not ask for a better friend. To his sister: He loved you very much. He will be missed by many
