Trinidad L Sosa

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Trinidad L. Sosa, peacefully gained her heavenly wings on April 8, 2021. She was born to parents Pedro and Froilana Lopez on May 31, 1936 in Luling, Texas. Trinidad was a devout Catholic who strongly believed in God. Her passion for the Lord led her to join Annunciation Catholic Church, where her faith was equally important as her family. She looked forward to gardening working with plants and flowers, spending time with her family, playing Bingo, and helping others. Trinidad will be dearly missed and forever cherished in our hearts for her loving, supportive, and giving spirit. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Juan M. Sosa Sr., of 58 years, and daughter, Raquel Sosa. She is survived by her only three children: Gloria S. Gorton (husband Roy Gorton), Juan L. Sosa Jr., and Sylvia L. Sosa: grandchildren: Anthony John, Angelica, and Aiden; great-grandchildren: Venus, Leia, and Ricky Jr; and her only sister: Lina Lopez and numerous close relatives and friends. A Visitation will begin on Wednesday April 14, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A Mass of the Ressurection will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church, 14011 FM 1346, St. Hedwig, Texas 78152. Interment will be held in Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in St. Hedwig, Texas
