Willie Schulz

Willie went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2021 after suffering several strokes. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 21, 1938.
He was a Dad to David Schulz (Chrissy), Cozette Moyers (Randy), Susan Stephenson (Ricky Swift) and Bobbi Schulz-Bragg (Ted). He was a brother to Cynthia Heatherly (Ray), an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that were very special to him. He also had many cherished friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Willie Schulz Sr. and Viola Anderson, a brother David Schulz and two sisters: Imogene Jenschke, and Willie Mae Varner.
Willie had a zest for life. He started his own business, “The Country House Doctor,” which continued for 30 plus years. He also enjoyed performing and had friends and family that joined him and made up the Texas Professional Gunfighters. They performed at many events in Texas, from HEB picnics to Night in Old San Antonio, and many more. He also enjoyed raising chickens, turkeys, and longhorn cattle.
Willie was surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest.

Your dad was so amazing. He has so many interesting stories and life experiences. More importantly he loved you so much. Bobbi you were his greatest joy. He was so proud of you! May you find hope in knowing he is eternally with his Savior King. May you find comfort in the many memories you have. We love you so much!
One time Willie took Bobbi and I to a car show. We were in Bobbi’s giant old yellow clunker. Willy pulled that car right into the car show next to all the vintage muscle cars and threw the hood open. The insulation was hanging down the engine was old and dirty. We had so much fun watching the faces of all the people who were smiling at all the cars till they got to ours. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
I remember when Willie took Bobbi and I to see Phantom of the opera because I said I always want to see it. He took us to dinner and the show. It was a very magical night that I will remember forever. It was a good time in all our lives. ❤️
Celebrating the life of a good person and mourning their passing with you Bobbi. Mr. Schulz would always made us feel as family and always joking around to make us laugh and you Bobbi always telling him “Dad” while rolling your eyes, and you would tell us “he’s just being Dad”.
