Clifford aka "Sonny Boy" Manor was the youngest of five children and third son born October 25, 1939, to Jessie and Bernice Manor in Taylor, Texas.

Clifford grew up in Zion Chapel Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Rev. T. B. Reeves. Clifford attended elementary school and was a member of the 1958 graduating class of O.L. Price High School.

His big brother, R.L., went to Taylor one weekend and learned that Clifford/Sonny Boy wasn't working; so, in 1959, he was brought to San Antonio, Texas where he made his home until his passing. he worked for a roofing company no more than two years and went to work at Southwest Research until his retirement.

In 1960, Clifford married Alma Hunter and to this union five children were born. Clifford joined Wheatley Htgs. Baptist Church in 2003 where he joyfully served as an usher.

Clifford/Sonny Boy loved sports. He lived and breathed ball playing of any kind. In high school, he was an outstanding linebacker for the O. L. Price Panthers. He missed by three days a try out for the Dallas Cowboys. Clifford managed the Blues Brothers and S&S softball teams for approximately 20-25 years. He managed the Senior League for two years. He loved the Texas Relays.

Clifford/Sonny Boy met and married Esther Harris in March 1999.

His parents, grandparents, two daughters, Barbara and LoEtta, sister, Jessie Mae, and brother, R.L. precedes him in death.

The hearts that will forever hold precious memories of Clifford are his beloved wife, Esther; daughters, Claudette and Geri; sons, Brett (Ula), Gerald (Tracy); sister, Mae Etta Dickey (James); brother, A.J. Manor, (Compton, CA.); 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Noreen ( Lynwood, CA.), Jackie, Jewel (Austin, TX.), and Janet (Phoenix, AZ.); nieces, nephews, many, many cousins, and his spoiled Corgi, Lucas and Russell Terrier Bandit.
