Sandra F. Sheffield, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018. She was born on October 24, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas to Pleasanton Hill and Etta Mae Randle. She was the fifth child born to this union. She united in matrimony with James E. Sheffield on April 23, 1966. To this union was born son, Daryl Dwaine Sheffield. She was a graduate of Phyllis Wheatley High School class of 1969. She continued her education at St. Phillips College and received many certifications in the mental health care field.

In her professional career, Sandra worked at the San Antonio State Hospital. And in her latter years, she continued her love and care of people by working as a home health care aid with the elderly.

Sandra truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and families. Sandra had an uncanny ability to reach people with a hug, perhaps a dinner, and a laugh.

Sandra is survived by her brothers Larry Hill (Linda Joyce), Owen Hill (Nancy). Sisters Barbara Stribling and , Linda Hill-Wood. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Earl Sheffield, her son Daryl Dwayne Sheffield, and her parents Etta Mae Hill and Pleasanton Wardell Hill. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Charles Edmond Hill, and Pleasanton James Hill.
