Alex O. Baca, of San Antonio, TX, passed away April 27, 2018 at the age of 49. Alex was born in San Antonio to Joe D. and Dolores Baca on May 23, 1968. He was an avid jogger, cyclist and had an immense love for animals. Alex loved life and was a devoted husband to his wife, Claudia, whom he adored and loved deeply. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and host of other nieces, nephews, and furry friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Baca Sr.; and his mother in law, Josie De La Garza. Alex is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Baca; his children, Jazmine Maldonado and Oscar Maldonado; mother, Dolores Baca; siblings, Rosemary Baca, Herlinda Baca, Joe Baca Jr., Shirley Baca, and Edward Baca; grandchild, Pete Pedro Gomez; and his beloved pets, Champ and Daisy Baca.

Alex’s more than a friend to me he was my brother in Christ you sure did a lot for me words can’t explain how much I love him going to miss my brother it’s too intense but your love and your memories will stay in my heart. Surely you’re going to be Missed my brother
Alex was such a happy spirited man. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. I know he is dancing with the angels.
Alex and his sibling and parents lived down the street from me on Hedges so I knew him and his brothers and sisters growing up…. He was such a fun kid and kind soul young man… My condolences his wife and kids and siblings and mother.
