Our beloved son, Alonzo Cantu Jr. , went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the age of 19 years. Alonzo was born on June 30, 1999 to Alonzo Cantu Sr. and Erika Morin. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He was a very loving brother to his siblings, loved his friends and was always very fashionable. He had a great love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed the company of his aunts and uncles and many cousins that will miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother, Erika Morin, father Alonzo Cantu Sr., His siblings, Jesus Estrada, Angel Cantu, Aaron Cantu, and Ashley Cantu, all of San Antonio, Texas. The viewing will begin at 5pm and continue through 8pm with a service conducted from 6-7pm on Sunday, April 14th 2019. Services will be held at Meadowlawn Memorial Park, Inc. located at 5611 E. Houston, St. San Antonio, TX 78220.

I meet you when you were just a baby, you and my granddaughter were the same age and your mother and my daughter were best friends. You were sweet and a very happy baby. You will be missed by our family.
My condolences to the family, No one can prepare us for the grief we experience when we lose a loved one, at 1 Peter 5:7 we are encouraged to “throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” Even though missed your loved one is not forgotten and God who is the life giver is eager to restore life to those who have fallen asleep in death and promises to do so by means of a ressurection. ( John 5:28,29)
Baby Alonzo loved his family very much, he was my first nephew… He made me a Tia. My little love had a big heart and smile. Those who really knew Baby Alonzo knew just how much his family meant to him. If I could hug you one more time I would hold you tight and never let you go… I love you my little love and you will always be my sunshine with your big smile… Love You baby Alonzo
My beautiful great nephew has left our family with warm and wonderful memories in his too short presence in our lives. His smiles will forever warm our hearts with love. Our lives have been made richer for having had him share his life with us, for that I am grateful. May our family members that have left before you , welcome you with loving arms. Till we meet again, little one, tia Jackie
