Carrie Mae Jackson

On Thursday, February 7, 2019, Carrie Mae Jackson, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt passed away suddenly at the age of 77 years young. She was born to the late Robert and Marie Jackson, April 13, 1941, in Kyle, Texas. Carrie will be forever remembered, by her children, Herbert, Charles, Debra, Barbara, Rose, Linda and Carl as well as by her brother Albert, sister’s Gladys and Doris and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Carrie taught at David G. Burnet Elementary school as a Teacher’s Aide. She also worked as LVN Nurse for some years. Carrie was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She would smile and speak to anyone she came across. She was a great Poetry Writer and she passed a lot of her talent to her children, and always wanted people to do well. Carrie had a sense of humor but it was in a sarcastic way, you would not know it until you walked away. She was a Christian, and would tell you whether you wanted to hear it or not “What dost, said the lord”! She never met a stranger she did not want to say a prayer for. Dear Mama: We all miss you and will carry with us the Life Lessons you instilled upon us. We will remember to stay grounded in the Lord and love one another no matter what. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie and father, Robert Jackson as well as daughter, Brenda Young, son, Christopher Nathaniel Jackson, and sisters Clara Franklin, Savannah Sims, Lola Jackson and Minnie Ella Nichols.

Guestbook

  1. I’m sending my sincere condolences to the Jackson family and friends. This is one of life’s greatest challenges that we have to face. The Bible offers much comfort for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. John 5:28-29 shows us how there will be a resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time when death will be no more. If you would like to learn more details about this, please visit Jw.org for the answer to many of life’s questions.

  2. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Carrie. Psalms 34:18 says that God is near to those brokenhearted. Draw close to God and he will grant you peace & comfort during this grievous time.
