Cruzita "Boogie" L. Talamantes

Cruzita L. Talamantes passed away February 22, 2019. She was born July 23, 1946 to Moses and Cruz Lozano in San Antonio, Texas. Cruzita was lovingly known as “Boogie” for her love of dancing. Nothing made her happier than listening to the oldies and Christian music. What she loved the most though, was being around her family and cooking her Sunday dinners for them while reminiscing of her childhood and younger years. Cruzita is preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Cruz Lozano; husband, Manuel Talamantes Sr.; son, Adolph Garibay Jr.; siblings, Moses Lozano Jr., Oralia L. Juarez, Frances Guia, and Robert Lozano Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Sylvia L. Acevedo, Dolores Talamantes, and Manuel Talamantes Jr.; niece, Norma Vargas, who was like a daughter to her; grandchildren, Kristy, Vanessa, Natalie and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Sienna and Berlynn; siblings, Natalio (Suzie) Lozano, Olivia Rincon, and David (Pearl) Lozano; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

I will miss her sitting on the porch always a smile on n her face and a warm greeting each time I saw her. She loved her Children always attentive to their needs . She has left a void in everyone’s life that knew her. Father God open your Heaven’s Gates in waiting for another angel is coming home. Rest in peace sweet angel your job on Earth is done. Psalms 34:18 tells us that “God is close to the broken-hearted “ May it comfort you to know God is eager to restore life to those who have fallen asleep in death and promises to do so by means of a resurrection (John 5:28,29) to a Beautiful Paradise earth with sickness,pain, and death being removed forever (Revelation 21:4), As you remember your lover one, may these verses bring comfort to your family in the days to come.
